Children’s Centre Worker

Job Description

Winlight Recruitment are looking for Child Development Support Specialists where you’ll play a vital role in planning, delivering, and evaluating community and center-based activities to foster young children’s learning, development, and health. Your responsibilities include assessing family needs, promoting parental awareness, and ensuring high-quality provision aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging activities for young children, maintaining consistency in high-quality provision.Assess family needs, collaborate with the team and external agencies, signposting to relevant services.
• Raise parent/carer awareness of child development needs, modeling and sharing best practices.
• Provide support to parents/carers, focusing on parenting skills and behavior management.
• Assist children with individual care needs, such as feeding and toileting, adhering to center policies.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or experience in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Compassion, empathy, and dedication to supporting children and families.
