Job Title: Business Support Assistant
Reports to: Head of Operations
Location: London
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Experience Required: A minimum of two years’ experience in administrative, office, or business support roles.

Role Overview:

Winlight Recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Support Assistant to join our dynamic team and work closely with our Head of Operations.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our business. Whether coordinating schedules, managing records, or supporting key projects, you will be a vital part of our collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Administrative Support: Handle scheduling, manage calendars, answer phone calls, and respond to emails.

·         Documentation: Prepare reports, presentations, and business documents as required.

·         Meeting Coordination: Organise logistics, materials, and catering for meetings and events.

·         Data Management: Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining databases.

·         Operational Support: Process and maintain records of office supplies, purchases, and expenses.

·         Communication Liaison: Coordinate internal and external communications, ensuring seamless collaboration between departments.

·         HR Assistance: Support HR tasks such as maintaining employee records and organising onboarding schedules.

·         Technology Support: Assist UK & remote staff with tools such as Office 365 (SharePoint, PowerPoint), Eclipse (CRM/ATS), Monday.com, and softphone solutions.

·         Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.

·         Special Projects: Provide support on various business initiatives as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Essential:

·         A minimum of two years’ experience in administrative, office, or business support roles.

·         Proficiency in Office 365 (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

·         Strong organisational and time-management skills.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication.

·         Confident in dealing with stakeholders in person, via phone, and in writing.

·         A passion for technology and a quick learner.

·         High attention to detail with problem-solving abilities.

·         Positive attitude, adaptability, and proactive mindset.

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·         Integrity, discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Desirable:

·         Previous experience within a recruitment and/or sales environment.

·         Familiarity with CRM/ATS systems (e.g., Eclipse) and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).

·         Experience delivering training on business tools or systems.
