Job Title: Theatre Practitioner (ODP/RGN)

Band: NHS Band 5

Location: Oswestry, North Shropshire

Salary: In line with NHS Band 5 rate Cap. (£20 days, £27 Saturday, £34 Sunday)

Winlight Recruitment is hiring experienced Theatre Practitioners to work on a ad-hoc/block booking basis at a top orthopedic hospital. The role offers access to cutting-edge facilities and a supportive environment dedicated to professional development.

Responsibilities:

·       Deliver high quality, patient-focused care in the theatre environment

·       Work autonomously as a sole practitioner, managing your work load efficiently.

·       Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.

·       Ensure patient safety, adhering to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

·       Diploma in Operating Department Practice or RGN with Anaesthetic Qualification.

·       Previous anaesthetic/recovery experience in theatres

·       Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Desirable:

·       Theatre qualifications and specialist orthopaedic knowledge
